What can I not use HibanaPay for?

Anyway… HibanaPay is great for many things, but we can't help you take credit card payments - direct bank transfers only. This is a good thing. No card fees. No delay.

What are the fees for using HibanaPay?

In our not-so-humble opinion, staggeringly reasonable, compared to other alternatives.

HibanaPay has a flat monthly subscription fee. We don't charge per transaction, and we don't hold your money. 100% of the value is instantly paid directly into your bank account.

When do I receive my payment?

Typically, payments are paid into your bank account within minutes, using Faster Payments.

Do you take credit or debit cards?

No, because cards are part of what gets in your way and reduces your profits.

How safe is HibanaPay

HibanaPay operates under an Authorised Payment Initiation license from the UK Financial Conduct Authority provided to Yapily Connect Limited. This ensures that HibanaPay meets the highest standards of security and compliance.

How does the payment process work?

Generate a QR code.

They approve the payment via their own banking app.

How does my customer authorise a payment?

At the touch of a button or in the blink of an eye…

Your customer authorises the payment using their mobile banking app on their smartphone. Their payment is securely authorised and the funds are released from their account.

How do I know if I've been paid?

We will spread the good news to you as soon as hear the tinkle of gold coins dropping into your account.

You receive instant confirmation at payment time. In addition, our app and web dashboards give you real-time info on all your payments, allowing you to check status and review history whenever you need to.

Will you ever place limits on my account?

Not without telling you, and not unless we absolutely have to.

 

There are certain situations where it may be necessary to place restrictions on your account.

  • Where we believe that there may be a breach in the security of your account details.
  • Where we suspect the unauthorised or fraudulent use of your account.
  • Where we are required to by law.



If we ever do have to do this, rest assured we will notify you ASAP, and make sure that our support team is available to help resolve the situation as quickly as possible.

Within the paid plans, there are “fair usage” limits which can be found in the merchant terms.

There is also a limit of £1,000 that can be collected in a single payment.

Funds collected from customers are paid directly into your bank account. With HibanaPay, we don't deduct transaction fees, you just pay your monthly subscription; that's it.
